Please stop the inhuman practice of Taliban Kite-Fighting! Apparently, this savage sport is making a comeback. If you are one of the participants, won't you give it a second thought?
In a related story, I've always had a special relationship with sock monkeys. I love the little guys. But most people don't even know what a sock money is! And that's even more sad than kite-fighting. I wish for nothing less than a sock monkey of my own, and I have had a real problem finding one to buy. A few years ago I saw them advertised at a trendy furniture store (!) for $80 each. At the time that was ridiculous, but given how rare they are, perhaps that's not so bad.
