According to Maaktaq Bookwormy, a good writer does not use adjectives or adverbs. I'm sure she is being tongue-in-cheek. Many of my college essays made the minimum word count only because of my consummate adjectives and perfectly used adverbs. Ridiculously, my professors slammed my prose as employing supernumerary ornamentation. Touché.
